SINGAPORE – If your fur kids are foodies, they are in for a treat at the PetExpo Fiesta Buffet Line, a first in Singapore.

The specially curated spread for dogs and cats offers nibbles and bites from participating exhibitors at PetExpo Fiesta, which will be held at Singapore Expo Hall 7 from Nov 14 to 16.

Each pet will have a plate to fill up with its favourite food, though pawrents are encouraged to take along their pet bowls. The one-of-a-kind buffet line, which is free for all ticket-holders, will be refilled at set times and each food offering will come with allergen labels and signage.

Pet owners can dine alongside their four-legged companions with food options from Fei Zhu Lok Lok, which offers Malaysian street food-style skewers, and Sofnade, a halal-certified food catering company.

A lifestyle-focused spin-off from the popular PetExpo, PetExpo Fiesta offers a more laid-back and interactive atmosphere where owners and pets can play, shop and connect.

A highlight of the three-day animal fair is a trio of play zones where four-legged visitors can frolic for free.

There is the Ball Pit Bonanza, where pooches can expend their energy in two large pits filled with colourful balls. Dog owners can join in the fun; just make sure your dogs are wearing diapers before they dive into the ball pits.

And if your dog still has energy left, let it participate in the obstacle course in the Dog Agility Ground. From weaving between poles to jumping over hurdles, dogs can show off their speed and skill.

Cats are not forgotten. There is Cat Box, a playground filled with stairs, condos and shelves where felines can climb, scratch and explore.

In collaboration with Feline Club Singapore, cat owners can get their pets microchipped free on-site. The exercise supports the Animal & Veterinary Service’s cat management framework, which requires licensing and microchipping of pet cats by 2026. Booking is required; check the PetExpo Fiesta website for details.

The event is not limited to pawrents. Non-pet owners are also welcome, as there are carnival games and a shopping paradise where visitors can pick up Christmas gifts from 150 participating brands.

PetExpo Fiesta has partnered ride-hailing app Tada to send visitors, their fur kids and shopping haul back home. For all attendees, there is a promo code for $5 off rides.

Admission to the event costs $6 for a one-day pass and $14 for a three-day pass. Admission is free for pets, children below 12 and Pioneer or Merdeka Generation cardholders.
