SINGAPORE - Mutant is a scary word these days.
Sars-CoV-2, the virus behind the current Covid-19 pandemic, seems to have endless forms of new mutant variants rolling off its assembly line, from Alpha to Delta to Omicron, with many others in between and potentially hitherto unknown variants on the horizon.
