SINGAPORE – In a final plot twist, outgoing Singapore Writers Festival (SWF) director Pooja Nansi was the woman of the hour as poets invited her on the stage of the closing reading to celebrate her legacy.

Nansi, shying away from the limelight, deflected cheers from the audience with a cheeky reply: “My T-shirt says it: We Tried Our Best.”
