Who: Dwayne Lau, 44, is a Singapore-based freelance theatre practitioner with close to two decades of experience in writing, directing and performing. He is the creator, director and main actor of Snakes And Ladders! – commissioned by the Esplanade for its Flipside festival. The interactive show, which is part musical and part game, runs from May 29 to 31.
“I like autobiographies or books written in the first person. I love to hear how the author thinks and get first-hand experience of what he or she is going through. I love to share personal stories, so I guess hearing different voices from ‘the horse’s mouth’ thrills me.
