SINGAPORE – An international gallery with 16 locations around the world started its 30-year journey right here in Singapore.
In 1994, Frenchman Gilles Dyan was hawking art prints, lithographs and cheaper works by young contemporary artists when a representative from Singapore approached him in Paris with an unusual proposition – travel halfway around the world to open a booth at Tresors, Singapore’s first international art fair in HarbourFront that year.
