Jo Tan’s King returns on National Day week. What a great way to celebrate Singapore-made ingenuity and resilience with this once live-streamed digital production in its intended form, the live stage. This time, as a live staging, Jo collaborates with Irfan Kasban (also wearing monochrome) as director, bringing gender performativity to its edge. Jo has added some new elements into the mix.
