SINGAPORE – If the last South Korean bestseller dwelled on a persistent case of mild depression, the next one might tackle healing from burnout. And it could well be brought to readers by a Singaporean translator.
Ms Shanna Tan’s English translation of Hwang Bo-reum’s Welcome To The Hyunam-dong Bookshop will be published by Bloomsbury in 2023.
