Who: Carnatic singer and Young Artist Award recipient Sushma Soma released an EP titled The Mountain Has The Last Say on May 19.
The date marks the first anniversary of the death of her husband Shrinivas Sainis Dattatraya after summiting Mount Everest. He had texted her saying he had contracted high-altitude cerebral oedema, a severe and potentially fatal illness, and could not be found after a week of search and rescue missions.
