Who: Hafizzul Hashim, 42, is the Malaysian chef-owner of contemporary South-east Asian restaurant Fiz in Tanjong Pagar. The restaurant received a Michelin Green Star in 2024 and is the second establishment in Singapore to receive the accolade. It is awarded in recognition of sustainable practices and dining experiences.
“As a chef, I work demanding hours in the kitchen and don’t have as much time as I would like to keep up with new releases. I do try to read every day, setting aside 10 to 30 minutes.
