SINGAPORE – Books are not generally associated with dance, but British choreographer Wayne McGregor seems to have an affinity for text-inspired works, having adapted everything from Dante’s Inferno to Margaret Atwood’s sci-fi dystopia MaddAddam.

In fact, he says in an e-mail interview, he is currently reading the Canadian author’s latest essay collection, Burning Questions.
