Website glitch: SIA replies

We thank Dr Oh Jen Jen for her feedback ("Cheaper air ticket lost after technical glitch"; Forum Online, Sept 1).

We confirm that due to power failure on Aug 3, from 9.40am to 11.40am, all transactions on our website and other applications were inhibited.

We have since spoken to Dr Oh and will be reviewing our processes to assist our customers in instances when our website experiences any technical glitches.
