Gardens by the Bay is committed to providing all visitors with a safe and enjoyable experience, and we assure Mr Shu Weibin ("Safety hazard of park buggies"; Forum Online, Nov 19) that the well-being of our visitors is of the utmost importance.

Buggies are used throughout the Gardens by staff and vendors to perform various essential tasks, such as maintenance, security and to ferry guests.

Our safety guidelines require buggies to keep within a 15kmh speed limit, and we remind our staff and vendors of the rules and to be mindful of their surroundings when driving.
