Trip to bank required for each SRS fund withdrawal

I retired last year, and recently made inquiries as to how I could withdraw funds from my Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) account with DBS Bank.

A bank representative advised me that withdrawals can only be made each time by visiting a branch and filling in an SRS account withdrawal form.

Application by post is not permitted, nor is there an online option.

Having to be physically present at a bank branch for each SRS fund withdrawal does not sound reasonable - surely modern banking can provide easier ways of doing so.
