A receptionist at the CPF Board in Novena had pink eye when I visited the office. I was surprised to see her working, as pink eye is contagious.
Someone with a contagious illness should not be serving the public in an open area.
An illness is unforeseeable and all employees should be granted medical leave without penalty when the situation warrants it.
