At long last, some action has been taken.

For too long, too many lorries, particularly those of Malaysian registration, have callously disregarded the environment by spewing noxious fumes along our roads.

It is indeed heartening to see the new initiative from the National Environment Agency (NEA) (New cameras on trial to smoke out errant vehicles; Sept 28).
