A lot of precious water is wasted every day when power jets are used to clean office buildings, shopping malls, foodcourts and windows all over Singapore.
I have seen cleaners hosing large volumes of water to clean an open-air path in the city, even though there had just been a heavy downpour.
We have constant reminders to save water. So is it necessary to use continuous jets of water to clean buildings and floors?
