It is extremely sad to learn that a domestic helper ended her life by jumping off a high-rise condominium block.

Instead of allowing compassion and sensitivityto prevail, inconsiderate people have uploaded and shared photos and videos of her fall and gruesome death on social media.

This is deplorable, wrong and offensive to her family and friends, other domestic helpers and viewers.

We need to show respect, understanding and love for the maid's family and not cause further grief.

Those who have uploaded pictures and videos might want to consider taking them down.

I believe their involvement would be better appreciated through donations to help the family cover her funeral, travel and other immediate expenses.
