At the polyclinic or the neighbourhood clinic under the Community Health Assist Scheme (Chas), I am turned away whenever I do not bring along my identity card, despite having my Pioneer Generation card and my PAssion Silver Concession Card, which has my photo, name and IC number embossed on it.
It would be helpful if the Ministry of Health could include the holder's photo on the Pioneer Generation card, so that the IC is not a must at the registration counter to see a doctor.
