Govt right to deny entry to ex-terror suspect

Kudos to the Singapore authorities for their firm action on Wednesday to deny a person entry at Changi Airport on account of his previous terror-related activities (Aussie ex-terror suspect denied entry; June 8).

I am sure there are people out there who would like to enter Singapore to create trouble during the Trump-Kim summit or to try and prevent the meeting between the United States and North Korea leaders from taking place.

It is important that the authorities take pre-emptive action and act firmly not only for the sake of the summit but also for the safety of Singaporeans, foreigners and tourists.
