My family and I used the Tuas Checkpoint on Nov 27 for our trip to Malacca.

To our horror, the toilet at the checkpoint was very poorly maintained. Not only was it very old and rundown, but it was also very dirty.

This is very disappointing.

We are trying to create awareness of the need for cleaner toilets in Singapore, yet the toilet at the checkpoint, the first glimpse of Singapore for many visitors, leaves much to be desired.

I am not expecting the toilet at the checkpoint to be of the standard of those at Ion Orchard mall. However, the state of the toilet at the checkpoint is definitely not befitting a country which prides itself on being First World.
