Who: Ong Tiong Meng, 72, engineer.

My family: Married, with two sons, three grandsons and two granddaughters.

My home: A semi-detached house in Coronation Road.

My passions: Playing golf and camping.

I started writing to the Forum page...: Some 20 years ago.

What I write about: Mainly on energy and transport matters.

Why I write: On energy, I am always very concerned that motorists tend to use the higher grade of petrol unnecessarily. This is more pollutive to the environment.

On transport, I am always irritated by the poor maintenance of buses, which rattle a lot.

I read the Forum page because...: I want to know what concerns Singaporeans have.

My wish for Singapore: That we do not waste food or water, and that we pollute the environment less by using the right type of petrol for our cars.
