Gifted education continued to be a hot topic this week, this time, with parents of gifted children sharing their pain and joy. They talked about how difficult it could be for a gifted child to fit in, when the rest of his development has not quite caught up with his intellectual growth.
Death was also on many readers' minds this week. Some advocated planning for death while we are healthy. Others advocated open discussion to relook laws on allowing terminal patients to decide on their own deaths.
Here are some of these letters:
Gifted children, a mother's heartache
Emotional support vital for gifted kids to succeed
Keep death in mind as we live our lives
Time to talk about new laws on dying
