We thank Madam Ivy Lam Bee Lian for sharing her experience at our Manekineko Safra Punggol outlet ("No warning of video nudity"; July 17).

Pertaining to the music video she mentioned, there was no full frontal nudity in the music video, although there were some partially nude scenes.

We apologise to Madam Lam on the matter. This is the first time we have received such customer feedback since the commencement of our KTV business operations in Singapore.

Though the videos on our premises are licensed and are also available in most karaoke outlets islandwide, we are working on the necessary preventive measures to prevent a recurrence of such incidents.

We have started by putting up advisory notices on the karaoke systems and at the front desk of our outlets.

We will continue to make improvements in our staffing and service levels to serve our customers better at all K Box, K Suites and Manekineko outlets.
