The use of technology is important in our society. Contrary to what the article, "Students don't perform better with tech use in school: OECD" (Nov 11), reported, students can perform better in school if we can use technology appropriately.
Students can find interesting learning materials using Google.
Learning came alive for me when I watched a YouTube video of how body systems work. This was better than just reading my science textbook.
I hope students will also be allowed to use electronic dictionaries during Chinese examinations.
Students can perform better if learning is made easier.
Schools can also use technology as a way to be more environmentally friendly. For example, teachers could scan assignments and upload them to a learning portal rather than print them out.
