We should not get used to sweetened food, as it is not healthy ("Are kids eating too much sweet stuff?; last Friday, and "Don't let kids form habit of eating sugary food" by Ms Geraldine Chew Chia Ling; yesterday).
It is bad for our teeth; if we do not brush our teeth after eating these foods, our teeth could develop cavities.
Too much sweet food is also harmful to the body, and could lead to obesity and even diabetes.
Eating too much sweet stuff is a bad habit and a serious problem, because once we get used to sweet food, we get addicted to it.
I have a sweet tooth, and I crave sweets all the time. But I constantly remind myself to eat less of these things.
Also, instead of drinking fruit juice, we should eat fruits, as a lot of fruit juice contains added sugar.
This way, we can maintain a healthy diet with less added sugar.
