Stay on guard against terrorism

I was saddened to read about the tragedies that happened last month in China and Thailand ("Blasts rock Tianjin, killing 50"; Aug 14, and "Bomb blast in Bangkok kills at least 16"; Aug 18).

Imagine going for a night out with your family when all of a sudden, a bomb explodes.

We are all potential victims. Sometimes, tragedy cannot be avoided, but it is time to step up anti-terrorism measures.

These should be initiated by the Government and supported by the people. If we cannot eradicate terrorism, then we should at least try to reduce the impact of each attack. Let us be alert and say "no" to terrorism.
