Pick better venues for election rallies

I suggest that the Elections Department pick better venues for election rallies in the next general election.

In the past, where huge crowds gathered, many roads and highways leading to the rally venues were jammed. This created much inconvenience for residents living in the affected areas.

Thus, it would be good for the Elections Department to consider using the National Stadium as one of the sites for election rallies.

This is especially important in cases where the turnout is expected to be huge - say, up to 30,000 people. Safety and security should be of paramount importance at such rallies.

Siting rallies at the National Stadium would also make it easier for those attending as there is an MRT station and many parking spaces available nearby.

More importantly, it would not inconvenience residents.

The venue is also more comfortable for those attending.
