Town councils carry out regular repair and redecoration works to keep HDB estates in good condition. These works include repainting, reroofing, rewiring and lift improvements for the residential blocks.

Where feasible, the HDB works with the town councils to synchronise these works.

However, it is not possible to do this all the time, as multi-storey carparks and residential blocks have different maintenance needs.

At times, works for carparks within an area are grouped together for economies of scale, rather than aligned with the works for residential blocks.

Nevertheless, we will continue to try to coincide the works where we can.
