No breeding detected during last check

We thank Mr Ang Hak Heng for his feedback (Concern over mosquito breeding; Feb 12).

As part of the National Environment Agency's efforts to prevent the transmission of dengue, our officers conduct regular inspections of public areas and various types of premises.

These include public transportation infrastructure such as MRT stations and bus interchanges.

During our last inspection at the Bishan MRT station in November last year, no mosquito breeding was detected.

We will continue to work closely with all stakeholders, including SMRT, to ensure that mosquito prevention measures are in place.
