More efficient way to control pollutants

Carbon emission rates are rapidly rising with fast-changing globalisation.

This has given rise to many negative impacts.

As the largest emitters are vehicles, particularly diesel ones, the revised scheme to measure other pollutants emitted from vehicles is a good idea (Vehicle carbon emissions scheme under review; Jan 4).

This would allow us to combat a wider range of pollutants and help reduce global warming more efficiently.

It would also allow for further studies on how the amount of pollutants can be controlled because we not only have to deal with these emissions, but we also have to clean up what has been released into the atmosphere.
