Mind your behaviour while online

Young people make up a large proportion of active social media users today. Driven by a desire to express themselves and interact with others, it is not difficult for them to lose sight of their bearings and accountability.

In certain situations online, youngsters forget themselves and act unbecomingly and react emotionally, ignoring context and consequence and inciting unexpected reactions.

The Internet has a way of masking our faces and stealing our humanity. But behind every profile picture is a person with circumstances and feelings. We have to keep that in mind as we navigate this modern marvel, and also remember always to be civil and decent on the Net.
