Making collection of funpacks more convenient

Depending on the needs and profile of the constituencies, many of my fellow grassroots volunteers have personalised the distribution of the SG50 Funpacks ("Easier way to distribute funpacks" by Mr Mak Seck Hong; last Thursday).

At Pasir Ris West, where I serve as a grassroots leader, many of the grassroots volunteers are distributing the funpacks to public estate residents through the Residents' Committees which are near them.

Similarly, the neighbourhood committees are working with the management councils of the five condominiums, namely Elias Green, Livia, Oasis @ Elias, Ris Grandeur and WhiteWater to distribute the funpacks.

Not only is this arrangement more convenient for the residents, but it also brings National Day celebrations closer to the residents, so that they can celebrate together with their neighbours.

We have been fortunate to have the support of the management councils, and we encourage other interested management councils to contact the People's Association at nc_matters@pa.gov.sg
