Inspired by ChildAid concert to do more

I am inspired by the huge success of this year's ChildAid ("Young performers raise over $2m for needy kids at ChildAid"; Nov 19).

The charity concert has become a signature programme for children and young people to showcase their talents, and for a good cause too.

I hope that more of such performers, able-bodied or not, but who are themselves beneficiaries of The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund, will sign up to showcase their talents at ChildAid next year.

Involving the beneficiaries in ChildAid is impactful testimony that their lives have been transformed, thanks to donors.
