In many cities in the United States, people have taken to the streets to protest against Mr Donald Trump winning the presidential election ("Widespread anti-Trump protests amid calls for unity"; Nov 11).
Protesting does not benefit anyone and certainly does not change the outcome of the election. People should accept the results instead of grumbling about them.
Mrs Hillary Clinton, in conceding defeat, said that Americans owe Mr Trump an open mind and the chance to lead ("Never stop fighting for what's right, says Clinton"; Nov 10).
Americans should listen to her and help Mr Trump do a good job of leading the country.
