I was on a SilkAir flight from Yogyakarta to Singapore on Tuesday.

Just seconds from touchdown at Changi Airport, the landing was suddenly aborted and the plane took off again. The pilot said that it was because of foreign objects found on the runway.

Could the Changi Airport authorities explain what happened? Should there be more vigilance?
