I congratulate Tamil Murasu and Senior Minister of State Indranee Rajah for such a great idea to get 15 other women Members of Parliament to wear saris for a photo shoot ("It's a wrap for Deepavali photo shoot" and "The big Deepavali dress-up"; both published on Monday).

They radiate positivity and look so graceful.

This affirmative nod to racial harmony is something which other nations of the world should emulate.

We need more such statements of peace and goodwill in a world full of divisiveness across races and religions.
