Bouquets: Six-star customer experience at polyclinic

Six-star customer experience at polyclinic

I recently had two heart-warming encounters at Sengkang Polyclinic.

On May 28, I called the polyclinic to request an urgent appointment for my 87-year-old mother on May 30. I spoke to patient care associate Irene Tan Siok Kim and was pleasantly surprised when she acceded to my request immediately.

On the day of the appointment, Dr Cheng Duoying attended to my mother. I was amazed at her friendliness and the loving care she showered on mum. It was as though we were in a six-star hospital.

Such an exceptional customer experience is indeed refreshing in a public healthcare institution.

Kudos to Sengkang Polyclinic.

No fear in the hands of medical team

Being a pioneer citizen without any major sickness, I was terrified when I was referred by a polyclinic to the Colorectal Centre at National University Hospital (NUH) for a colonoscopy on May 28.

However, I was met with superb service by the team led by Dr Bettina Lieske.

With their infinite patience and professionalism, my fears were much allayed and the procedure was smoothly performed.

I am sincerely grateful to Dr Lieske and her team. They are perfect models of their profession.

I also thank NUH. I have worked and lived in several first-world countries and can attest to the fact that NUH is among the top hospitals in the world.
