Bouquets: Kind help from auto workshop

Kind help from auto workshop

On Aug 6, my wife and I were involved in a collision with a motorcyclist at the busy junction of Bedok North Road and Bedok Reservoir Road.

After the police had done their work, we were instructed to tow our car away, but we could not access our car as it was locked from the impact. Two men, Mr Goh and Vincent, who were on their way home from work at a neighbourhood car workshop, N-51 Automotive, offered to help.

My wife and I were reluctant to accept their help as the workshop was not part of our insurance company's list of authorised workshops.

However, as the situation was pressing, we had no choice but to do so.

At the workshop, the men and the staff there assisted us patiently and politely.

After consulting our insurer, we decided to have our car repaired at one of the authorised workshops.

We informed N-51 Automotive of our decision with much trepidation and awkwardness, and offered to compensate them for their time and effort.

To our surprise, the boss, Mr Neo, declined any compensation, and the transfer of our car was done smoothly without any untoward haggling.

My wife and I appreciate the team at N-51 Automotive for their honesty, professionalism and integrity.
