Bouquets: Good team spirit at hospital

Good team spirit at hospital

On July 18, I went to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital shivering severely and battling a chill.

Upon registration, I was found to have a temperature of 39.2 deg C and was immediately whisked to the observation section at the accident and emergency department.

For the next three hours, a Dr Azri attended to me. Despite being overloaded with high patient traffic that Monday morning, the nurses and doctors never failed to make hourly checks on my progress.

The entire team showed good team spirit. Many thanks to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

Life saved, thanks to NUH staff

My deepest gratitude to Dr Dharmaraj Rajesh Babu and the National University Hospital (NUH) for saving my life on July 26, when I was admitted for treatment of an aneurysm in the aorta, the main artery of the body.

I will always remember Dr Rajesh as the most distinguished vascular consultant I was fortunate to have met. A team of splendid men and women assisted him in the operating theatre. I rate them as world-class.
