Bouquets : Cabby returns wallet at my home

Cabby returns wallet at my home

On March 18, I unknowingly left my wallet in the Trans-Cab taxi driven by a Mr Wong.

Two days later, to my surprise, he showed up at my home to return it to me.

He explained that my wallet had been lodged under the seat, and he noticed it only when he was cleaning his taxi.

I offered to reimburse him for making the trip to my home but he refused to accept my offer.

I truly appreciate Mr Wong's kind deed and I commend him for his honesty.

Tireless care from SGH staff

My family and I thank Associate Professor Tang Choong Leong and his team at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) for providing excellent medical care to my 88-year-old grandfather.

The team never failed to place my grandfather's best interests first.

Every effort was also made to coordinate the complex care that he needed from multiple specialities throughout his operation.

The staff were patient with our questions and concerns, and helped us understand the risks and benefits of each clinical decision made.

The nurses and other allied health staff at SGH's Ward 47 also deserve thanks for their professional and responsive care.

The healthcare profession is not an easy one.

Hence, my family and I especially acknowledge the tireless efforts of the professionals we encountered at SGH, and we appreciate all the work that they do.
