Wonderful world-class show
I congratulate the National Gallery Singapore on the Yayoi Kusama: Life Is The Heart Of A Rainbow exhibition - Singapore's first ever blockbuster showcase of eminent world-class standard.
The visual art world will talk for some time about this show.
Washington, DC and Tokyo had similar shows, but on a curated spatial presentation.
The one in Singapore beats them all.
I thank the patrons who lent Kusama's earlier works from their collections.
The pieces are heart rending and, indeed, Kusama's joyful phases all came through in spite of her difficult life.
The stigma against mental illness in our society can be understood through the genius of Kusama's art.
She is still functionally creative at the ripe age of 88 years.
She is indeed an inspiration and will have a revered space in the visual art world.
