Bouquet: Helping hand on the road

Helping hand on the road

I suffered a flat tyre while travelling along the Bartley viaduct on the afternoon of June 26.

I am in my mid-60s, and with me in the car were my three-year-old grandson and a few friends who are in their 80s.

We were stuck on the road in the midday heat, and many cars whizzed by until a driver finally stopped to lend a hand.

He helped us change the tyre, and stayed with us till we were on our way.

He did not even tell us his name, but we are grateful and thank him for his help.
