Helping hands in time of need

I thank Ms Gwendoline Ng and Ms Yvonne Lee from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as SilkAir's manager in Xiamen - whose name, unfortunately, I did not get - for keeping me alive and helping me through Chinese customs after I suffered a stroke in China.

They kept me company throughout, even when I was in a Chinese hospital. I returned to my family in Singapore from Shangrao on June 11.

I was recently discharged from Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. I am also grateful to the nurses there.

I am thankful to everyone for all the assistance rendered and for saving my life.
