Asean Para Games, only gold medallists receive a monetary award, and not the other medallists.

Silver and bronze medallists should also get some monetary award, and not just verbal accolades and pats on the back, in recognition of their efforts and sacrifice.

Monetary awards for winning a silver or bronze medal can also

spur athletes to do their best to, perhaps, first aim for bronze as they work their way up.
