Extend courses beyond SG50 to keep seniors active

I never thought I could attend college as a senior, but the free short courses offered in conjunction with SG50 celebrations ("From dance to IT - 400 free courses for seniors"; May 17) allowed me to do so.

Over the past three months, I went to La Salle College of the Arts for an SG50 course and learnt a lot.

The course helped to open my horizons, and enabled me to make a lot of friends and keep my mind active.

I am grateful for the opportunity, so thank you. I believe being able to attend such courses also means a lot to my friends who are seniors, and to those who attended the courses with me.

If possible, could such courses extend beyond SG50?

I would be willing to pay half the course fee as I think the courses will help to keep me active and engaged outside of the home.
