Tell us why you are Singapore's biggest Disney Cruise Line fan.

I never thought that Disney Cruise Line would ever come to Singapore and that, to experience one, I would need to fly to the US. When I heard that the Wonder was heading to Australia, I told myself that it would be the nearest to Singapore ever, and I flew to Sydney for the first time just to board the Disney Wonder – and I absolutely loved it. After booking the inaugural sailing in Australia, three months later, it was announced that Singapore would have a Disney Cruise home port here for the next five years. Is it too much if I said I absolutely cried and was so excited over it? Even more so when I was talking about it to the other cruisers on the Disney Wonder in Australia. I did so much research for the sailing, and whenever people asked me about my experience with DCL and whether it’s worth paying for it, I would ask if they had a couple of hours to listen to my experience and what they would get when they sail on DCL.

As not a lot of Singaporeans or my friends have sailed with DCL before, they are unsure of what to expect. That is when I decided to do my own version of a DCL “TED Talk” presentation on what is included, what activities there are and more. It was 64 slides long. I felt so happy that I could help others learn more about DCL, continue to boost their interest and hopefully help Singapore become a permanent port for DCL. I always feel very honoured when my friends think of me as the go-to person to ask about DCL and say that I should be an ambassador! (I wish!)

So, I might not be the biggest, but I'm definitely one of the biggest DCL fans in Singapore!

Can’t wait to experience our very own Disney Adventure! I am already booked on the maiden voyage as well!


Who would you like to experience the Disney Adventure cruise with and why?

My Disney friends and my fiance!

My fiance went with me to Australia even when he wasn’t a big Disney fan, and now he is a convert – he even proposed to me at a Disney park! He has also promised to help me do more vlogs about DCL.

My friends and I have also made a pact to visit all the different Disney parks, and I want to add all the different Disney Cruise ships to that list as well. I believe that once they experience their first cruise, it will not be their last and they will get hooked.

These are the people I want to experience the magic of DCL with!
