CapitaLand's serviced residence business unit, The Ascott, has opened Citadines Suites Louvre Paris, its first property under the Suites label in Paris.
Citadines Suites is a new label under Singapore-based Ascott's Citadines brand that complements its existing Citadines Prestige and Citadines Apart'hotel labels.
Mr Tan Choon Kwang, Ascott's managing director for Europe, said: "We are proud and excited to open our first property under the Citadines Suites label."
The property underwent an extensive nine-month transformation into a serviced residence with 51 apartment suites, while preserving the historic building's unique European features, at a cost of €5.9 million.
Dating back to 1908, the seven-storey building has a striking Art Nouveau stone façade adorned with classic Parisian balconies, sculptures and colonnades. Renowned British designer London architects BuckleyGrayYeoman handled the interior décoration.
Designed as a boutique-style luxury residence, Citadines Suites offer four suite categories: Première, Exclusive, Grande and Royale.
All Exclusive and Royale suites have a balcony that offers views of the Comédie Française Theatre or Louvre museum.
The Ascott operates three brands of serviced residences - Ascott, Citadines and Somerset.
