Straits Times Index ends lower in tandem with regional indices

Share prices on the Singapore bourse fell, with the benchmark Straits Times Index ending the day lower by 19.77 points or 0.61 per cent to 3,210.67.

The decline was in line with its regional peers. Gainers almost matched losers at 201 and 203 respectively while 396 counters were unchanged.

Some 1.78 billion shares worth $1.2 billion were done.
