Share prices on the Singapore bourse rose for a third straight session, with the benchmark Straits Times Index ending the day higher by 15.07 points or 0.5 per cent at 3,169.91.

Gainers led losers 273 to 117 while 412 counters were unchanged. Some 3.27 billion shares worth $1.03 were traded.
