Share prices on the Singapore bourse fell with the benchmark Straits Times Index ending the day lower by 9.02 points or 0.27 per cent to 3,279.50.

This bucked the trend, as most Asian bourses closed higher.

Gainers led losers 266 to 157 while 368 counters were unchanged. Turnover stood at 5.93 billion shares worth $1.30 billion.
